Welcome

We’re delighted you’ve chosen to come to the first annual assembly of the reorganized American Frontier History Association, formerly known as Order of the Indian Wars. We believe this weekend will be a unique experience for you. Our outstanding speakers will give us an overview of the historical events that occurred in and around the beautiful Maumee River Corridor.

There are very few rules for this group – but one is strictly enforced:  The Bus Leaves on Time!!! We do not wait for stragglers.

Most days we will return to the hotel late, so be sure to take any medications you might need with you each morning. We’ll have cold drinks and bottled water on the bus – just ask if you get thirsty! And wear comfortable shoes as you may opt to do a lot of walking! Please wear your ID badge.  It will help us get acquainted as well as identify you to the bus driver and others as a member of our group.

The most important rule is that you must have fun!
