The in-Depth Study of U.S. Frontier History
Exploring the Interactions Between Indians, Settlers, and Soldiers
Our association is a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to the in-depth study and dissemination of information on U.S. frontier history, with a special focus on the interactions between Native American Indians, settlers, and military forces. We seek to commemorate the history of the peoples and events in our past, recognizing the complexities and nuances from all perspectives.
We also seek to preserve and protect important sites associated with that history and encourage individuals and groups to become involved in the preservation efforts in their communities.
We provide a platform for the exploration and understanding of the complex dynamics that shaped the American frontier, and hope to educate and engage individuals in the rich tapestry of our nation's history.
